What resolution do I need?
Ask Yourself:
Do you need to display images with fine detail?
If your primary use of the system is to project images then high resolution is not really necessary.
SVGA resolution is the best solution for the money.
If you need to display fine detailed, clear images then XGA resolution is necessary. It is also easier to read.
XGA is the current standard resolution for web pages, while SVGA screens cannot display the entire width of a web page.
In an identical sized display, there will be smaller images in XGA ,than SVGA.
- SVGA, or "800 x 600" - Is a very popular resolution, because of its lower prices and great images.
- XGA, or "1,024 x 768" - Is generally more expensive, and is just as popular resolution format to SVGA.
